Six Maltese representatives join together.eu Leadership Academy in Brussels
Six Maltese representatives, representing youth, students, Charlemagne prize winners, media literacy, journalism and women, participated in the together.eu Leadership Academy organised in Brussels between the 15-16 October. During the intense two days, participants discussed the EU's long-term budget, the Pay Transparency Directive and ways of how to act as Parliament's multipliers back in the local context. The Academy brought together around 250 multipliers from 28 countries, representing over 200 organisations. The programme included three Vice-Presidents, a four-MEP debate, networking with 17 MEPs from 14 Member States, four participatory workshops, a Hemicycle visit and individual commitments to local action by mid-2027. The European Commission's Youth Unit, the EU Networks team were also represented apart from the Parliament's Youth Outreach Unit and the Multipliers Outreach Unit.
