What is the Charlemagne Youth Prize?
The European Charlemagne Youth Prize is awarded annually to outstanding youth-led projects that promote community, democracy, cooperation, and sustainability. Open to EU residents aged 16-30, this competition offers young innovators the chance to gain recognition and funding for their initiatives.
Each of the 27 national winners—one from every EU member state—now competes for the top three European prizes, awarded by a jury at the European level. The winners will receive up to €7,500 in prize money, and one representative from each project will have the incredible opportunity to become a Schuman trainee.
A Record-Breaking Year for Malta!
This year saw a record number of project submissions in Malta, making the jury’s decision tougher than ever. The Maltese jury commended the Green Bean Guru team for their dedication, international reach, and cultural exchange efforts.
See You in Aachen!
One representative from each national winning project will travel to Aachen, Germany, on May 27th to participate in the Award Ceremony and Winners’ Week.
