EPLO Malta brings Maltese content creators to Brussels for the Content Creators Summit 2025
10 Maltese content creators visit the European Parliament in Brussels
From 10 to 13 November 2025, the European Parliament Liaison Office (EPLO) in Malta coordinated the participation of ten Maltese content creators in the Content Creators Summit 2025, held at the European Parliament in Brussels.
The initiative formed part of EPLO Malta’s ongoing commitment to strengthen civic engagement, modernise communication efforts, and bring EU topics closer to young and digitally active audiences through relatable social media storytelling.
The Maltese delegation included Demaris Agius, Gail Baldacchino, Raisa Brincat Newell, Kurt Calleja and Kevin Paul Calleja, Daniela Farrugia, Trudy Kerr, Dorianne Mamo, Emma Tranter, and Jais Zammit. The group represented a range of platforms, styles and audiences, enabling broad reach and engagement across Malta’s digital community.
During the summit, participants attended a packed programme of discussions and workshops covering key topics such as disinformation, digital responsibility, EU policymaking, research and data insights, and the legal and ethical dimensions of online content creation. Creators also had the opportunity to engage directly with Maltese Members of the European Parliament, strengthening links and exploring future collaboration on EU-related topics.
Throughout the visit, creators documented their experience extensively, producing high volumes of organic content from inside the European Parliament. In addition to showcasing behind-the-scenes moments and key takeaways from the summit, the group also created content with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, as well as Maltese MEPs Alex Agius Saliba, Peter Agius, Daniel Attard and Thomas Bajada - helping bring EU democracy closer to citizens in a more accessible and engaging format.
Feedback from the participating creators was very positive, with many expressing interest in continued collaboration with EPLO Malta on future activities and awareness-raising initiatives.
